mutual or difference?

Kay, for so long my blog is mostly wordy with less pictures, unlike jackie loi... What to do, I'm lazy in uploading pictures (explains a lot why I don't do blog post for any of nuffnang's blog post competition; however, doesn't really explain why I seldom update as well) Woops... Anyway...

Disclaimer: Not referring to anyone in particular nor hinting anyting, A and B aren't initials to anybody and no harm is done here, it does not invoke innuendo alright... XD

Scene 1
A: That guy's a total disgust, a disgrace to mankind... I mean, c'mon, who in the RIGHT mind would wanna associate themselves with him anyway. Not like they're gonna benefit from him, he's just going to pull their legs and drag them down to hell... Best thing ever, how did they even came to existence?

B: You sure? I don't find him that bad... I mean, yea, he has bad habits and all, but he's friendly, talkative and easy-to-go-with person. Sociable, a veritable nice guy. Why not try to be friendly with him and get to know him better?

Scene 2
A: Goodness me, she's the coolest girl I've ever met, like she's so cool and all, such a good role model, rich and has the all-in-one package any guy would ever wish for... She can cook, dance, sing, play musical instruments, soft-spoken, kind and all... OOooo...

B: WHAT?! That Witch? Are we really on the same channel now? That girl, compliments? You know, she defines all that's bad in this world. Why would anyone want to be friends with her, much less even greet her... This is just absurd!

Scene 3:
A&B : Marvelous...! That person's just... PERFECT!

*End of story*

It's true that at most crossroads in our life, we meet with various people from different phases of our lives. Various people subjects to different attitude, personality, behaviour, character and value as well. As such, the 2 people up there encounter the same person, but have different opinion on that person. How then do we deal with such people? Complain? Show disregard? Don't bother? Then again, there's a point of time whereby they'll agree that certain people they know are nice and great! Such a great world of balance we're living in...

tak tahu lah...

Alright, first things first, sorry blog... Everyone treats their blog as if it's alive and all... Well, I guess it is. Yesterday, during cf we had an ice-breaker which is human bingo. It went quite noisy and all, but it was fun! (as usual...) One of the slots reads "has a blog but is inactive" and I thought I'm eligible to sign that... Well, guess what? Another guy made it to the championship ranking, way beyond our challenge and reach... He left his blog for 3 good years! Woo hoo!!!

*talks to my blog* So, you think I neglected you eh? Well, think again!

Today as I was driving to class, it was a crazy morning. I decided to drive without my safety belt. Ho ho ho... Merry Christmas! Santa didn't have his safety belt on as well... Heck, he didn't even have a proper roof! Anyway, as I was reaching uni, there was a police roadblock at a very strategic place(sometimes, police are tactful when it comes to finding fault with road users), it was at a 2-lane road, just right after a cornering, which the view is blocked by trees. Awesome... Guess what? I was the 4th car just before the police road block...

Action 1: Quickly pull down the safety and tuck it, even when I'm in full view of the police
Action 2: Slowly pull down the safety belt, and just do it smoothly without them realizing it
Action 3: Well... Just let it be lar...

What will you do in a situation like that? I can answer for athletes, their quick reflex enable them to pull up action 1 with swift perfection. The cool and calm can execute action 2 with great confidence... People like me? Well, we just go with action 3... Best thing was, the car right in front of me (literally IN FRONT of me) was stopped and checked...

Great! Habis lah... Mesti kena tahan, saman, lepas tu pergi kelas muka masam maut... When it came to my turn to pass, SURPRISINGLY, the police looked at me and waved to me indicating I can pass... OOSSS!!!! *sigh of relief* I passed... God SAVED me... After that, I didn't even put on my safety belt... Since new year, it has been great! It's been always great... Haha...

Before it's undone

Warning: Hazardous for those who will easily be insomnia-stricken, weak-heart and easily lose interest... Warning has been issued, do not blame me if anything happens... This will be a heck of a long, wordy entry

Alright! Take 5 seconds... Yes, 5 SECONDS to do this simple task: List out 5 things you cherish most, whether good or bad in any sequence, so whatever crosses your mind in the top 5 list, just put it down. E.g.

1. Family (as usual)
2. Friends (again, as usual)
3. Sleep (also, as usual)
4. Computer
5. Food!

Yea, if you've guessed, that's what I will cherish lar... *smiley*
*drum roll* If you've just shared the same thing (or almost the same) things as me, I'm sure that 5 is not enough! C'mon, there are more things that you can cherish in your life!

Take for example, early in the morning...
7a.m. : Wakes up in the morning, walks to the bathroom, tries to twist the tap on only to discover... NO WATER! *frust*
7.01a.m. : Fine, no water, still need to brush teeth... *reaches out to take toothbrush, picks up the tube of toothpaste in a blur condition... Squeezes the tube* WHAT?!!! NO MORE TOOTHPASTE?! *apparently forgot to stock up on toothpaste*
7.05a.m. : Last call, tries to bathe... *gets the towel, fresh change of clothes and briefs* Upon entering the shower room, places the towel, clothes and briefs on the hanger. Switches on the shower tap and there comes the water! Finally, something made right...

Trivial is it not? However, these are the simple things we take for granted at times. From something as insignificant as having the toilet lights functioning properly to major things like friendship and fellowship.

What if one day, you discover that your phone couldn't function anymore?
What if one day, you discover that your computer couldn't be turned on?
What if one day, you said something wrong and your friend gets all upset over it even when your friendship has been forged long enough to be close?
What if... And the list goes on and on... *emo-ing*

Humans will be humans, we can be forgetful at many other times. What's to prevent us from forgetting stuff? I myself can't remember what I had for lunch on a Sunday 3 weeks back... Heck, I don't even remember if I had lunch or not! Haha... Therefore, we shouldn't take things for granted so simply... YESH! Of Course! This same proverb has been repeated time and again, but they'll just be mere words that flashed through your vision as you read this, and until you actually experience this, you won't understand how important it is.

So people, appreciate what you have lar huh... Don't take things for granted.

Bittersweet symphony

Yesterday was a day to look forward to (as in few weeks back) because I managed to obtain a pair of free premier tickets for 'Avatar'. Directed by James Cameron, who directed 'Titanic in 1997 (back when I was a small boy and didn't understand the significance of love), this movie is indeed (and I can say confidently) the BEST movie I've watched this year. Forget Michael Bay man, Avatar graphics is way marvelous and amazing to behold.

Jake Sully(Sam Worthington) and his neon-blue sleek skin avatar and Neytiri(Zoe Saldana), his newly-found girlfriend from a different being altogether... Touching...

Well, on my personal preference, I would advise with vehemence that you watch this movie, as it depicts and draws the different emotions from that blood-pumping heart of yours. I definitely will watch this movie again even if on my own.

On the same day, I parked my car in an illegal spot, and I received a fine slap on my car windscreen... So sad *sob sob* But after watching this movie, my mood was heightened up to its best for a round of supper in murni! Must WATCH! Great!

Cinderella Spin!!!

Ok, this is really random. It was yesterday evening, during my trip home from the lrt station. I was on board a bus and sitting beside the railing, right next to where the steps down is. It also means that I'm sitting at the far right of the row and there's an empty space beside me.

When the bus stopped, imagine this malay lady, short and chubby as she is, walked towards the seat beside me, held the yellow-coated bar, made a "cinderella spin" and at the blink of an eye, she was already seated beside me...
