My mom used to lash out at me immediately when I have a change of mind. Well, she still does lar. And it's a good thing, I'm not complaining ok...
Me: Mom, I'm not coming back for dinner tonight, going out for dinner with friends (or any other alike reasons I can give)
Mom: Alright, guy or girl?
Me: I'm not a playboy ok, neither am I a gay
Mom: Ok, come back safely
*** Moments later***
Me: Ahh, mom, coming back for dinner. Still got time to come back and eat.
Mom: Make up your mind now, dinner or no dinner *angry face* (Yea, my mom uses emots... And full well at it too... Then again, they're mostly angry faces lar...)
Me: *no more sms, quickly gives a call and says, "Yea, dinner at home".
Now as I look at it, I won't know the severity (if it was ever caused) of changing decisions at the spur of the moment. Especially when it's directed to someone, all the more your decisions need to be clear and precise, and by precise I don't mean perfect. If you're the type of person who catches up with news daily (not hinting anything here), then you'll agree with me that reading newspapers involves a lot of reading about MIND-CHANGING DECISIONS. Just today you can see the menteri BESAR of Kelantan pulling off his son-in-law's CEO position from PBMK... See, decisions being Called, then Called off... Well, not implying that the Menteri Besar is indecisive lar, but there are times when desperate time calls for desperate measure...
So mom, next time before you lash me for changing my mind, I'll point my finger elsewhere... XD
Till then, Au Revoir~
