Before it's undone

Warning: Hazardous for those who will easily be insomnia-stricken, weak-heart and easily lose interest... Warning has been issued, do not blame me if anything happens... This will be a heck of a long, wordy entry

Alright! Take 5 seconds... Yes, 5 SECONDS to do this simple task: List out 5 things you cherish most, whether good or bad in any sequence, so whatever crosses your mind in the top 5 list, just put it down. E.g.

1. Family (as usual)
2. Friends (again, as usual)
3. Sleep (also, as usual)
4. Computer
5. Food!

Yea, if you've guessed, that's what I will cherish lar... *smiley*
*drum roll* If you've just shared the same thing (or almost the same) things as me, I'm sure that 5 is not enough! C'mon, there are more things that you can cherish in your life!

Take for example, early in the morning...
7a.m. : Wakes up in the morning, walks to the bathroom, tries to twist the tap on only to discover... NO WATER! *frust*
7.01a.m. : Fine, no water, still need to brush teeth... *reaches out to take toothbrush, picks up the tube of toothpaste in a blur condition... Squeezes the tube* WHAT?!!! NO MORE TOOTHPASTE?! *apparently forgot to stock up on toothpaste*
7.05a.m. : Last call, tries to bathe... *gets the towel, fresh change of clothes and briefs* Upon entering the shower room, places the towel, clothes and briefs on the hanger. Switches on the shower tap and there comes the water! Finally, something made right...

Trivial is it not? However, these are the simple things we take for granted at times. From something as insignificant as having the toilet lights functioning properly to major things like friendship and fellowship.

What if one day, you discover that your phone couldn't function anymore?
What if one day, you discover that your computer couldn't be turned on?
What if one day, you said something wrong and your friend gets all upset over it even when your friendship has been forged long enough to be close?
What if... And the list goes on and on... *emo-ing*

Humans will be humans, we can be forgetful at many other times. What's to prevent us from forgetting stuff? I myself can't remember what I had for lunch on a Sunday 3 weeks back... Heck, I don't even remember if I had lunch or not! Haha... Therefore, we shouldn't take things for granted so simply... YESH! Of Course! This same proverb has been repeated time and again, but they'll just be mere words that flashed through your vision as you read this, and until you actually experience this, you won't understand how important it is.

So people, appreciate what you have lar huh... Don't take things for granted.

Bittersweet symphony

Yesterday was a day to look forward to (as in few weeks back) because I managed to obtain a pair of free premier tickets for 'Avatar'. Directed by James Cameron, who directed 'Titanic in 1997 (back when I was a small boy and didn't understand the significance of love), this movie is indeed (and I can say confidently) the BEST movie I've watched this year. Forget Michael Bay man, Avatar graphics is way marvelous and amazing to behold.

Jake Sully(Sam Worthington) and his neon-blue sleek skin avatar and Neytiri(Zoe Saldana), his newly-found girlfriend from a different being altogether... Touching...

Well, on my personal preference, I would advise with vehemence that you watch this movie, as it depicts and draws the different emotions from that blood-pumping heart of yours. I definitely will watch this movie again even if on my own.

On the same day, I parked my car in an illegal spot, and I received a fine slap on my car windscreen... So sad *sob sob* But after watching this movie, my mood was heightened up to its best for a round of supper in murni! Must WATCH! Great!

Cinderella Spin!!!

Ok, this is really random. It was yesterday evening, during my trip home from the lrt station. I was on board a bus and sitting beside the railing, right next to where the steps down is. It also means that I'm sitting at the far right of the row and there's an empty space beside me.

When the bus stopped, imagine this malay lady, short and chubby as she is, walked towards the seat beside me, held the yellow-coated bar, made a "cinderella spin" and at the blink of an eye, she was already seated beside me...

it's true

Most of the times, you'll come across with proverb/warning, reap what you sow. Well, for the kind-hearted, you'll be smilling deliriously with a broad grin over your mouth. However, for the ill-mannered, you'd like to cogitate on your deeds.

For months past, the battered road outside my house has suffered the wrath of those cruel, mean mat-rempits (mina-rempits not identified yet) whose reign of terror ended when today, of all days! Whoah... I must say, moms do have the best kind of instinct of things to happen and somehow, they have innate telepathy when they become mothers. My mom called me just as soon as I stepped down from the bus, as my right foot touched the similar solid-battered ground. She warned me of a tragedy that took place just a few meters from where the bus stop I came down from. As I was walking and answering the phone at the same time, upon lifting my head up staring at the shrouded darkness, just lit by street lamps and seeing bystanders and house residents looking on by on the poor pitiful souls who were sitting down on the road, I knew immediately what my mom was trying to relay via her mobile phone.

11.10pm: Some mat rempits were doing some free-willy stunt, those only possibly executed in 'Extreme games'/ Motorcross! Woo hoo! Best motorcycle stunt game! Yea, of the 19th century... Anyway, on 1 moment, they were in cloud 9 pulling off that stunt, and...

11.11pm: "AHH!!! Ouchhhhh~" *girl wailing* (although they were guys lar...)

And there they were, sitting on the ground. As I'm typing this right now, an ambulance just arrived and they're attending to their needs. Bittersweet feeling swelled up inside of me as I was thinking...

*Yesh!!! PADAN MUKA!!! RIGHT AT YOUR FACE!!!*

.... and another, being a Christian

*Ouch... Wei, you'd better get to hospital fast. Who knows what interior injuries you might suffer from*

Well, the safest thing to say the least is, REAP what you SOW...

sudden ear itch for sonata

First time I heard this song from 'Nodame Cantabile' and I was clung to it... And yes, I still watch it from time to time. However, the sonata I liked most was this. Enjoy... Just a sudden occurrence of interest...

decision-making ain't an easy one

I'm sure this has been repeated a lot of times, leaps and bounds and over and over again. "Make the right decision!" Yea, if I'd known how to make right decisions, I'll never learn from the wrong ones I made.

My mom used to lash out at me immediately when I have a change of mind. Well, she still does lar. And it's a good thing, I'm not complaining ok...

Me: Mom, I'm not coming back for dinner tonight, going out for dinner with friends (or any other alike reasons I can give)
Mom: Alright, guy or girl?
Me: I'm not a playboy ok, neither am I a gay
Mom: Ok, come back safely

*** Moments later***

Me: Ahh, mom, coming back for dinner. Still got time to come back and eat.
Mom: Make up your mind now, dinner or no dinner *angry face* (Yea, my mom uses emots... And full well at it too... Then again, they're mostly angry faces lar...)
Me: *no more sms, quickly gives a call and says, "Yea, dinner at home".

Now as I look at it, I won't know the severity (if it was ever caused) of changing decisions at the spur of the moment. Especially when it's directed to someone, all the more your decisions need to be clear and precise, and by precise I don't mean perfect. If you're the type of person who catches up with news daily (not hinting anything here), then you'll agree with me that reading newspapers involves a lot of reading about MIND-CHANGING DECISIONS. Just today you can see the menteri BESAR of Kelantan pulling off his son-in-law's CEO position from PBMK... See, decisions being Called, then Called off... Well, not implying that the Menteri Besar is indecisive lar, but there are times when desperate time calls for desperate measure...

So mom, next time before you lash me for changing my mind, I'll point my finger elsewhere... XD

Answering a phone

Feel the urge rushing through your organ sending impulses one after the other to your brain that something urgent needs to be done about it?

It’s either a call, or an sms.

That’s what happens when you feel like visiting the washroom to ANSWER the call of nature!

Just when you were relieving that thought of going to the washroom to engage in that call, you stumble upon a washroom that requires a small fee to be made before proceeding.

Are these toilets any different from other public toilets that don’t have this ‘toll’ fee? As you start thinking about it, then you start to think whether you NEED to answer this call after all(unless it’s really urgent, most probably you’ll answer that call).

This is where the idea of Call or SMS comes in. What’s the difference you might ask? What’s that gotta do with answering the call of nature lar?

Answering the call of nature is pretty much like answering a call, either by pressing the GREEN button(on nokia phones, as well as other phones I guess) or replying an sms. Now you might be getting a rough idea. =D

Basically, whenever you answer a call as a recipient, you don’t pay; the opposite party does. That’s where public toilets are portrayed to be non-fee-paying toilet, or in short, FREE toilet.

On the other hand, if you need to pay a small fee or amount just to answer that urge, it’s called SMS. Your bladder ‘sends’ you an sms, you ‘reply’ back with a small fee, but since you’re not from the same telco provider, you’ll have to pay an extra amount, say 10 cents or 20 for that matter.

Yea, so that covers rather much on why you’re suppose to hand in a small amount of money compared to a free toilet. However, if you do happen to stumble upon the RM2 toilet, remember, you’ve just replied to the reply-me-for-RM2-in-order-to-win-a-free-i-pod-touch... =D

Internship... so far

Boss! Bosses are good and bad, depending on where you're working... In my case, my boss' exceptional... I'm really having a fantastic time doing my internship here in Out of the Box. Well, details of my work scope is as follows:

- Coming to work anytime from 9.30-10am, and leaving anytime from 5-6pm (As long as I get my work done)
- Work, work, and work... Entertainment is slotted in between works (Fb, tweet, msn, listening to songs, curi-curi Prototype... no lar, can't play prototype, too obvious from my facial expression later that I'm having a tough time completing an event)
- Marketing and PR! Woo hoo~ And one of the things to look forward to, roadshows and pretty girls from different colleges and universities.. Right...

Well, that's just a gist of it.

Pass time

Back when my bro was in UK, all the games I ever played in this rectangular-electricity-filled box of mine were Freecell, Solitaire and Chess(level 1, never progressed any further than that...), but....!!! He came back with games in his external hdd! Woo hoo!!! What else, don't bother lar... Immediate I took the games off from his mini storage equipment and installed it into my laptop... At first, I gave a try at this kinda new game... Looks cool, nice gameplay, interesting missions... Even the main character is mad! Well, this game's non other than PROTOTYPE...

Yeah... This game is marvelous! Should try playing this game if you computer has the adequate requirements...

Basically, this game is about a genetically mutated person who has infected DNA in his body that makes him... Indestructible... Living in a city whereby an infection has spread all over the borders, he escaped from the laboratory and sets out on a journey to discover more on his past. Equipped and enhanced with superhuman, alien, what-ever-not abilities, he can glide through the skies, parkour on walls and railings(even human!), and most importantly, WHACK THE C*** OUT OF YOUR ENEMIES!!! Stress-relieving game lar...

That's why I played more often than not during my exam... Good thing I installed it just after I did my branding assignment, or else I'd be passing up a branding survey on 'Prototype' instead of 'Gatsby'... Hmm... Sounds good... Ok, as I'm talking about this game, I'm urging myself to play this game already!

Finally!

On the first day of holiday, I manage to get myself~

One great morning rest,
Two hours of satisfying gaming session
And 3pm I have to go for a meeting!

Oh well... Starting my internship next week, not really much of a holiday anyway...

random post

Just a random thought as I was driving home this evening... It was a slow traffic in the middle lane, and I had to keep my mind busy. Then I thought of Dr Subra(my Branding lecturer) who said that MONKEYS show their teeth as a sign of aggression.

Yea, I know it's cute, ain't it... =D Awww...

Anyway, humans, if you don't wanna get torn from limb to limb or shredded to pieces, I suggest you don't bother them... However, when an orang utan smiles, they're awfully cute! And added to that, they don't mean business... Maybe cause they're ORANGs after all...

One Malaysia or One Republic?

Reporter: Bringing live telecast to you. A series of accidents occurred throughout the MRR2 highway. There were 3 different accidents at 3 different stretch of the highway. Well, it took place this morning and apparently, as ALL MALAYSIANS would know, traffic congestion is bound to follow... EVEN if the accidents occur at the roadside where it won't obstruct the traffic, it's still JAMMED!

I mean of course, this isn't the exact jam that was present this morning lar. However, as ALL, and I literally mean all Malaysians do, they will slow down to partake in this amazing event! It's as if they've never seen an actual accident before(Well, I'm not pointing fingers on those who are actually trying to escape the congestion themselves). That's why, as I'd like to introduce today's topic, "One Malaysia or One Republic"

Or

If you truly wanna help out in the accident and offer a helping hand instead of a watchful eye(They don't need any more eyes to help out anyway), then you can start off by NOT slowing down when you see an accident. Goodness... Provided, that's if you are claiming yourself to be '1 Malaysia'. Help out your fellow people by not causing more congestion than it already is.

In another case, you can always be 'One Republic' and sing, "Stop and stare"!!!! Wooo hooo!!!

Stop and stare
(Yea, I can see you're already slowing down to look at the accident)
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
(Of course, cause you're slowing down!)
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
(How do you know? You're just an on-looker... Goodness)
But I've become what I can't be, oh
(Are you sure? You're already a jakun, how else can you not become what you can't be?)

Stop and stare
(Yes yes yes! Quickly lar!)
You start to wonder why you're here not there
(Cause the traffic is congested, how to move?)
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
(Ya ar? Give toll money also don't need to wait so long)
But fair ain't what you really need
(True lar... Who wants to give toll?)
Oh, can you see what I see
(I think so)

Therefore people, please, please try not to slow down when there's an accident nearby... Just have a quick glance and be on your journey. The choice is yours... 1 Malaysia or One Republic

break it out!

Have got a craze over doing something which you really desire to do, but not have the chance to do it?

Ever thought of climbing the highest mountain, or dive the deepest sea?
Well, don't need to wander that far; how about working yourself out till you don't feel like that body you've been living with doesn't belong to you anymore?

Like it's always being said, "Life is short, and getting shorter by the minute". Enjoy every moment of your life, do not let the best in life escape your future undertakings.
If you feel like enjoying a scenic view of the clear blue clouds while lying above the green pasture, go ahead and do so!
If you feel like running till your lungs give way, just put on your sport shoes, proper attire and head out of the house and to the streets! (provided you're not afraid any snatch thief/ ridiculous car traffic obstructs your conspicuous desire)
IF you feel like clasping on the nearest sharp object you can get hold of and start stabbing the person you don't like... Well... Just drop that idea... Although you always imagine an old man speaking a trail of words in your head that resounds "There's always a first time for everything, sonny", DON'T~ and I really mean DON'T ever kill... Doesn't land you in a very favourable place. Well, having all that said, "Just do it!" is the greatest tagline ever constructed.

Lead your own life,
Make it the best and worth the strive!

both worlds apart!

Note: To all road-users, may I have your attention please...
I repeat, may I have your attention please...
Thank you...

Have you ever driven on the road one superb morning, when the sun is shining so ever brightly towards you and you can almost feel haven in your car?
Or, have you ever driven on the road while listening to the soothing rhythm of your favorite song and sing happily to the tune?

You were so happy driving and decided to overtake a car in front of you

.... WHEN SUDDENLY
A motorcyclist zooms pass you! Not only that, adding to that frustration, the passenger behind gestures his leg as if to kick your car and shows his s***** middle Fing**!!!

Wah, suddenly, your whole world turns upside down, inside out, outside in, downside up, centre point invert... Whatever you can think of...

Yea, exactly! That's how I felt when I was driving 1 night, tired from a full day's work in university. That night was supposed to be a relaxing drive off mrr2. However, after experiencing that, I had to contain my anger and supress it, making sure it doesn't pour out like hot curry from the pot... Yea, Jesus himself said, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."

Easier said than done, but I tried anyway... Like a cold water poured down on my head, immediately my anger condensate into thin air from inside the car. Well, as I'm recalling this superb experience, I bet sometime, the motorcyclists are having a yum cha session with his friends elsewhere, doing the same thing as me, except that it's more verbal and oral than mine... Something that goes like:

*M: Woi, kau tahu tak hari tu, aku tengah rempit kat mrr2 macam biasalah... Tiba tiba seekor budak cina tu dah tak tau pass lesen kat mana punya... Entah, lesen ada ke tak... Nak potong pergi sebelah kanan, tak reti tengok cermin tepi punya... Suka suka potong je... Kang aku potong kereta dia... Nasib baik aku cukup power nak 'evade' kereta dia, kalau tidak rasa-rasanya takde 'chance' nak cakap 'experience' ni bagi kamu semua lah...

*M: Hey, do you know what? That day, some idiot riding the motorcycle, don't know where he gets his lousy license from lar... As if he stole his dad's motor and 'tumpangs' his friend behind... His friend also another fella, no moral etiquette wan... Can show his pretty middle finger in the midle of the road... I wanna overtake peacefully, the fella wants to create a riot... What man... What's this world coming to lar... Aih...

(* The M in this conversation can be replaced by any term deem possible...)
Anyway, what's done is done. HAha. Just enjoy my remaining days!

forget the brief... Chris Daughtry!

Been listening to this song till it's integrated with my brain nerves... Woo hoo!

This is the 1st verse:
I've practiced this for hours, gone round and round
And now I think that I've got it all down
And as I say louder, I love how it sounds
Cause I'm not taking the easy way out
Not wrapping this in ribbons
Shouldn't have to give a reason why

Chorus:
It's no surprise I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was no surprise

2nd verse:
It came out like a river, once I let it out
When I thought that I wouldn't know how
Held onto it forever.. just pushing it down
Felt so good to let go of it now
Not wrapping this in ribbons
Shouldn't have to give a reason why

Chorus:
It's no surprise I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
There's nothing here in this heart left to borrow
There's nothing here in this soul left to say
Don't be surprised when we hate this tomorrow
God knows we tried to find an easy way
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was no surprise

London bridge:
Our favorite place we used to go
The warm embrace that no one knows
The loving look that's left your eyes
That's why this comes as no, as no surprise

3rd verse:
If I could see the future and how this plays out
I bet it's better than where we are now
But after going through this
It's easier to see the reason why

Chorus:
It's no surprise I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was no surprise

Final bridge:
The kiss goodnight, it comes with me
Both wrong and right, our memories
The whispering before we sleep
Just one more thing that you can't keep
Our favorite place we used to go
The warm embrace that no one knows
The loving look that's left your eyes
But I know in time we'll find this was no surprise

brief 21st birthday celebration(continuation)

Alright nicol, you win... Yea, so here's the 2nd part of the sequence... Enjoy!

Meeting chronicle 2:

Wednesday:
"Tis the day...!", I said to myself. "Whatever happens, happens...". The usual routine was laid at its place, everything seemed to go at its own pace. Right after class, that's where the 'meeting' arrangement began. Keng Sing came up to me and told me that the other group members for IT(refer to the previous post) were to go to his house for the discussion. Hence, I followed him to his humble abode whereby I was playing some IGoogle game called 'Electricman 2' while waiting patiently for the rest to come.

It was around 5.45pm when I reached his house. Half past 6, Hui Yen called and asked us to divert our course of meeting to MCD's as it was a heavy jam at the opposite side of UCSI university. "Alright, no problem. We'll head there as soon as we can for the 'MEETING'...". There zoomed the both of us, right back to taman connaught. Immediately upon reaching, I darted in to MCD's just to find no trace of any of my group members... "Wah liau, I thought they already reach liau wan... Hmmm...", a silent thought occured as I sat on 1 of the chairs. Keng Sing, being himself, went out to call the girls I presume. Moments pass, and Hui Yen finally reached with her band of girls in her car. From MCD's, our appointment shifted to Ampang... *Wow, how meeting places can progress so quickly from one to the other*

Our tour around MRR2 brought us to this place called Ampang, and we reached there around 8.40pm where we ordered our food and beverages. The moment I stepped foot into the restaurant(it's a thai restaurant, serving real authentic thai delicacies and generous portion as well by the name of.... I forgot... 21 years old dy ma! Where can remember so many things...), I was greeted by a couple of 'Happy Birthday' wishes that came my direction. "Thanks so much!" I replied. We had our meal, were chit-chatting away, took times and folds of pictures. Before the clock striked a particular time to indicate our departing from that place, Sin Yee smuggled a bag of tissue papers into Hui Yen's handbag... Coooool~ "Ok, so, that's the end of my 'meeting'... Simple and nice... Great food!" I thought. Everyone bade their goodbyes to one another, making it more believable that that's the end of our 'meeting'.

I predicted up until this part of the 'meeting' that it would take place... However, it was not so for the following...
*************************************************************************************

(Around 11pm at night):
As we reached taman connaught, I asked Keng Sing to stop me by the petrol station, as in Cheras, it's well known for the longest pasar malam in KL, so with the crowd over there, even if a man gets trampled to pancake size there, nobody will know... That's how congested the crowd is. Anyway, as I opened the door and was about to step out, Keng Sing pulled my hand and asked me not to leave... Whoah... What's the occasion... I wanna go back already, am I prohibited from leaving the car? Goodness... Then he took a turn out and parked at Samosa(a cafe right in front of my university) "Alright, go get your car!" That time, Syeet Yeng, Jae Sean, Elaine, Cindy, Shen Yean and Keng Sing were already there. Where were the others? Hmmm... Fishy...

I walked up to get my car, drove it down and as I reached the exit, lo and behold...!

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you!"
"Happy birthday to Joseph, happy birthday to you....!"

Sin Yee was walking towards my direction as they were singing the song...
What a sight to behold, friends celebrating your birthday.... .... in the most unimaginable way possible... >>> 21 small candles around my cake! OH MY GOODNESS......... I need a fire extinguisher!!!

Anyway, my smile ceased as they had me make my birthday wish which I closed my eyes and wished that... *no disclosing!* Then, I opened up my eyes, blew the candle, and as I was about to lift up my head... *Splat!.... Splat, splat splat!* They threw white cream on my face with tissue papers! The ones taken from the thai restaurant! My whole face was covered with snow-white cream, till my eyes resembled those of santa claus' beard! Not only that, even my shirt, pants and car weren't spared! Scary... Now I know how much they hate me as they relinquished their wrath and fury with flurry of cream-blows on me... HAHAHAHA! Just kidding!

It was really fun all in all... We took more pictures, and soon in just a night, I became like a renowned star, except that I was more down to earth. And guess what... Someone whom I didn't mention earlier in the previous post came to celebrate my birthday too... Guess who...? It's non other than the infamous 'without-E'... Nicol!!! Hahaha... It was a blunder when she came lar.. Cause soon after she reached, she just had the itch to take the strawberry on my cake, coat it thick with cake cream and marked my face like that of a jungle warrior(2 stripes on both sides of my cheek) Yea, incoming pictures! Honour was given to her, because not only did she came late; amidst her busy schedule, she still made time and came all the way to taman connaught to celebrate my birthday, and in return, I just had to accompany her to the night market, along with the rest! Haha...

Basically, all these took place on wednesday, and it will remain memorable as it stays in this blog of mine, but even technology can fail at times. However, what remains permanently, is in this 10gb memory brain-disk of mine. Thanks guys for such a great birthday celebration! =D

brief 21st birthday celebration

I think this will the longest post ever, as it will be broken into 2 sequential story line... And it'll all be words and no images, so I hope I can portray it as interesting as possible. Enjoy peeps!

Before I begin, I'd like to thank my faithful and wonderful friends for such an awesome 'meeting'! Not only that, most of all, thanks for just being my friends... =D Awwww... Anyway, they are none other than... JENG JENG JENG!

Shen Yean, Sin Yee, Cindy, Hui Yen, Keng Sing, Nicol, Syeet Yeng, Jane, Jae Sean, Kian Keat, Elaine(I hope I didn't spell your name wrongly... XP) and not forgetting, the person who started this whole huge thingy with a tiny spark from an sms sent to me on monday as i was driving back from uni, Yu Wei! Hahaha...

Meeting chronicle 1:

Monday night:
As I was driving through the windy breeze in my mini vehicle, I was alerted by an sms that came to my digi mobile phone. As usual, thinking that it might be something that requires my utmost attention, I trailed my hand to my phone located in the squarish hole in between the 2 front seats. I picked it up, unlocked the key pad password, and opened the message. I was paying attention forward, more to where I am going rather than to my phone message. The road in front of me was clear, and soon cars were passing faster than the speed rate of a huge bolder falling from the cliff. I browsed the message as it read, "hey..joseph...are u free on wed after written discourse class?" To which I replied, "Oh, that would depend on what do you mean by free... Why ah?" The incoming message's reply was, "means you are free lor?". I was giggling when I received this cliche reply... So I came up with the next reply, "Cause wanna rush for assignment ma.. Wanna discuss something is it?". Then I was stoned when the person on the other end of the phone replied, "ya lor..i also dun want to discuss but no choice..anyway.. dun PPK yar :-)" "Whoah", I thought to myself... I continued my journey home... *by the way, the person was Yu Wei....

Tuesday morning:
Arrived to class at 10.30am in the morning, just in time to see Ms. Shafida advising the other group for design and layout. I proceeded to my seat and settled down. As I was catching my breath, Hui Yen came up to me and said, "Joseph, tomorrow can have meeting ar? Wanna discuss the IT(internet technology) assignment." "Ok, no problem", I said. Thinking it was just a normal discussion, having ponder that it was just normal to have that meeting, I drank my water. "Bring your guitar ah!" *almost spraying the water out of my mouth* I replied, "Huh?! Why wanna bring guitar?"
"Ok lar, then bring camera!"
"Oh, camera can lar..."
Settled, that was tuesday...
*actually, already thought that they'll celebrate for me... Wasn't really much of a surprise, cause I was too smart for them...* XD JUST KIDDING!

brief bird park trip

Before I begin, I'd like to make a humble confession: I know that I always update my blog slow kay, so get used to it! It's not like I blogged about Chinese New Year in May ok... Haha.

Readers: What's this trip all about ah?
Joseph: A random idea that developed into a promise that soon became a meeting of 4 people. They were Kristine, Max, Loi and myself. These 4 adventurers braved themselves as they undertook a quest that required them to take PICTURES of birdies... =D YAY!

Readers: Oh... Hahaha... When was the trip?
Joseph: The trip took place last Saturday (11/07/09). Basically, I was supposed to meet the other adventurers at 10am in Bangsar lrt station. However, due to a certain reason, I reached there at 10.30am instead and hindered their progress. Anyway, friends being friends, our band of adventurers are very forgiving and kind... However, I'll try not to press my luck further next time... >.<

Reader: Oh my goodness... That's so diva...
Joseph: Not compared to Kelvin Kuan! HEhe... Vain... Well, after leaving Bangsar station, we went to a mamak stall nearby to have our breakfast. Here are the pictures of the before and after meal

Reader: Wow, you sure made a mess in that mamak stall...
Joseph: Oh, no worries... Max's close with the boss over there... They call each other by the term of "Abang". Brothers... Or so it seems... From thereon, we made our journey to Bird Park! So, here are some photos to commemorate our trip!

Well, the journey ends here... Hope to see ya'll soon...

brief welcoming party for my cousin

Yesterday, there were 3 parties to be engaged, but obviously, being a human how can you split to a few clones... IMPOSSIBLE! Well, everybody's got a choice to make... Actually, not really much of a choice lar, it was impressed upon me that I should go, so i did! I attended the welcome back dinner for my cousin. Whoah... He grew a couple more groupings of beard around his face... Haha!

And there beside his pic is his humble, marvelous Subaru Impreza from s'pore. Cool right... Too bad it was dark at night when i took the pic, so it isn't that clear... However, if you see it in the morning, you might wanna jump into the car and sit in it without ever stepping foot on ground again. Anyway, for us who reached earlier at my aunt's house, we makan-ed first. Then came the folks from Shah Alam! We had lotza fun yesterday, especially after meal when sugar was high in everybody's blood... My goodness...
I promised my aunt that i'll promote her synthetic flowers... Well, she needn't ask, i'll do it willingly cause it's really nice! Done to the utmost perfection, great handiwork, fine skill and wonderful mastery... Wanna buy? I can do phone-booking for you... Haha

Yea, they all look yummy alright! Hehe... Even if you forgot to give thanks for your food, don't worry, it's really THE-LUSCIOUS! Actually, it's delicious lar... And the Best Dessert, winning all-year round Super-Duper Crumbler Award for 6 years consecutively beating the other contestats hands down, legs down, face down... The Most Iressistible Dessert goes to... >>

We had dessert after meal and all our stomach were delighted by the sweet-sour dessert. Thereafter, my other mini cousins went for a spin in the vehicle my elder cousin drove, Impreza. Really impressive lar... Then it was time to go home. We took our leave from one another and we called it a day.... Oh wait! Before that! The most happening event of the day!

brief morning

The symptoms of H1N1 (swine) flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with H1N1 (swine) flu. - pandemicFlu.gov

This morning, I woke up to the dawning of the day. Was still feeling tired when I went down to the living room. Sat there for quite some time before I decided to switch on the television. All of a sudden, I could feel a twitch of headache followed by a slight cough. Moments gone, and thereafter, i felt like vomiting... Wonder what happened to me?

Don't worry! It's not H1N1... I was just watching a movie called "Cloverfield"... Crazy movie... Watch it and you'll probably know why I went through that crazy swing... XP

brief prom night (",)

Alright! The moment you've all been waiting for... *drum roll* *people clapping and shouting vehemently*

*Emcee* Ladies and gentlemen, little boys and little girls, small kids and young children... Presenting, the most glamorous, auspicious, eventful day of the year 2009... UCSI Prom Hollywood night! *woot* *whistle* This elegant evening, we would like to announce to you the guests and attendees of the prom night: semi-finalists of UCSI's Got Talent, Prom King and Queen finalists (not to mention 5 really gorgeous hunks and 5 lovely ladies). Well, at least I'm announcing the more important ones lar... Har har har...

Anyway, just a brief summary of what happened that night, from my point of the story, this is how it goes...
5.30pm - Reached home from church after practice. Immediately ran into the bathroom with my towel and ***** and so on and so forth. Whatever i took in there, it didn't come out alive, so, yea...
5.50pm- Got ready with my formal wear and styled my hair.
5.50, 44 seconds, pm - Done with styling my hair... You guys out there who were probably wondering whether I went to any stylists for my hairdo, don't bother... I took a chunk of hair wax, swirl it around in my palm, then *piak* there it goes on my hair... Taa daa!
6pm - Exited the house and into my car. Listened to Chris Daughtry, Feels Like Tonight, and there I zoom off to pick up my passengers.
6.30pm - Manage to reach the lidi's... Woops.. Lady's abode. The beautiful lady came out in her exquisite black dress with a remarkable hairdo. Wow, really power wei... Anyway, yea, she's none other than ms nicol without E.
6.32pm - Nicol came back to earth from 'complain-land' and forgot that she didn't bring her prom ticket. So, went back to the lidi's abode again... Well, reiterating the same thing.
6.45pm - *oo la la...... drooling* Sin Yee was looking great that day! It's like she went through a really intense metamorphosis...(maybe I shouldn't have said this... XP) She looked totally different, accompanied by her other two housemates who were really elegant to the max... 10/10!!! Har har! Ok, telling the truth ah... ♥♥♥
7pm - Upon reaching Janice's house, I didn't even manage to take a quick rest for my pitiful leg, and there Kelvin goes, jamming on the accelerator as if Godzilla was right at the back of his mini Kelisa... Well, i don't blame you, we were really late, forget the diva entrance, we're way too diva already!
7.30pm - Should reach already lor... But as usual, the most famous number 1 reason to be late known fact to all road users in Malaysia, JAM! So, yea, wait lor...
7.47pm - Really should reach dy lor... But we went round and round... And just to recall the song I heard by Chris Daughtry, it really FEELS LIKE TONIGHT!
8.10pm - YAy, we reached! Upon stepping foot on the ballroom, we were really greeted with a red carpet(shorter version of the Hollywood red carpet) and flashes of lights that rayed our way and people who were gathering around the area.

The rest of the event proceeded as usual with the UCSI's Got Talent performance and the Prom King and Queen thingy... Yea... Well, here are several pics, taken to the finest bestest of the bestest best skill... Enjoy...

Well, and there goes, the pics I have prepares... So, mainly, the prom was really a success, and great job by the organizers. (cannot say bad things, later detain under ISA, Imminent Students Apprehension)

brief talent show

To all you UCSIans out there... And not only limited to that bunch or group, but to all readers, this is a Public Announcement to blast you off your seat(in case you haven't read the newspaper yesterday, 10th June)... This post is dedicated to our own university's talent show(UCSI's Got Talent). If you paid rm150 for a ticket to Jason Mraz's concert, well, just to splash cold water on you, we have our own local Jason Mraz man... Talented people with attitude!

However, i'm not promoting the prom night lar... Just a brief idea on how this talent show is being staged. They had their audition around last month, though i can't really remember when was it exactly. Then, out of all the orangs who auditioned for the prelims, 14 people are chosen to stage their performance in the auditorium. There should be videos posted up for each of these performers as to encourage the audiences to arbitrate the talents of these people...

Now, reverting back to my original intention, i was gonna let you all know about this simple guy who rocked the audience off their seats the moment he opened his mouth to sing a song by Jason Mraz... Well, he's none other than Ahmad Nahri!!! *woot* Wanna know more? Go find out about him by clicking on his name... Then you'll know why...

Anyway, just continuing from where i trailed off, these semi-finalists will be narrowed down to 5 finalists who will then perfom one last round, Encore or whatever to satisfy their audience's hunger and thirst for pure, refined talent...! Imagine 1 simple guy who could cause an uproar during the semi-finals, what more when you witness 5 finalists who'll bombard LEGEND HOTEL hall on the 20th of June! The acronym UCSI brings various denotations... Wondering what it means this time? How about, U(You) C(See) Superb Individuals!

brief farewell...

Yea, took place like ages ago... Actually, just last friday lar... What took place last friday you ask me? Well, besides the usual going-to-school routine, somebody from the Cheong family left for UK... Ooo la la... *he must be enjoying the superb weather now with just a piece of jacket on* Great!

Here's a post in remembrance of this brother of mine... And the award winning farewell goes to...
Yeap, this is the picture of my brother alright! A robot...! Well, he was used to be known as Bender(Futurama), then I thought, "Since transformer's the IN thing this month, why not commemorate him with a better looking, stupefying features of a marvelous robot! (with no legs)

Anyway, that's not really him lar... That pic up there is just to show how artistic i am... XP As if... Well, the main highlight here is about my bro, so, without further a due, let me just show you my picture-framed brother! Tada! He's 24, he's out the door, and my my, that way called for...
Hey hey, where am i?!! I'm sure i'm just dreaming... Let me just wink once, and then it'll all return to normal...
