it's...... HOLIDAY!

Deepavali, an occasion I lookssss forward to... Fish curry! Mutton! And lots and lots of spicy stuff!!! Woo hoo~ I mean besides Hari Raya of course, since during Chinese New Year you don't get much spicy stuff...

Off to the first in the list is Aunt Chandrika. - My mom's friend -
Now, this aunt cooks marvelous curries and dishes. She makes idli as well (as far as I can recall from last year's visit). Then she made this special dish just for our visit; Pineapple Curry! Whoah, just amazing! The taste is indescribable! I especially love to deep my rice with overflowing curry...

Then later in the afternoon is Kavia Susu! - My friend -
He cooks... I mean, his dad cooks. I recommend the spicy prawn sambal and string hopper. Simply wonderful. I can't forget how spicy the prawn sambal is, and thinking of it just makes me crave for more.... *yum yum*

At night my relatives are coming. - Well, they're pretty much my cousins, uncles and aunts -
Tonight's menu is non-Indian food. Too much serving of one stuff can be fatal, there needs to be balance. Therefore, we're having non-spicy food instead! (I always associate Indian food with spiciness)

Still, it's Happy Deepavali to all of us!

what 1 day can do

Had a great evening with Bala and Ms. Lee... As in the formalities of proper event, "thank you for gracing our day with your presence" Planning with Ms. Lee and Bala is never a headache, cause it's a crazy-go-wild time where crazy ideas pour out like nobody's business, but all in all, some things are achieved.

Ever heard how your strength can be your weakness? Seems difficult to comprehend, but honestly, it's something which is doable.

Internship

Right you are! This is the 2nd phase of internship that I'm going through right now. Writing for this blog ain't so hard either.

This time around, I've landed in a land far far away, where humans walk in and out of coffee shop, cars parked at the allocated parking lots, LEAVES dropping from the tree! Yes, it's a place called, Damansara Utama. It's been 2 months since I started internship (which by right I should have already been done with it, but I decided to stay on to help out till next year)

The place I'm interning now is called THE BrandLaureate. Great place, have lots of opportunities to learn and pick up and practice. Never a dull moment I would say! Bravo~ *claps claps*

Basically we do
- Events
- Events
- Office Admin/ Secretarial work

And eventually, meet up with people. Speaking of which, I should remind myself to get some pictures of myself of the event.

Just can't help saying it

The old adage goes, "time flies"!!! And it's so true, time literally flies... And 1 more thing we always forget to add in is that, "... and we can't catch it" As rock-bottom as it is, we still have to go on in life and just buck up!

Ever since co-op in September, during the short semester, things have never been the same. Changes here and there and everywhere. Well, I know because I'm not in the scene to experience it. It's always the 3rd person's spectacle that differs. Being the 1st person, you don't really realize the change until you sit down and ponder real hard till you have that constipated look on your face.

I've seen, and continue to see friends being buddies, people having great time bonding with each other, people getting closer and they're having the blast of their life (I presume). As much as I hate admitting that, yea, I'm left out of the picture, but then again, it's great seeing that things turn out to be better than worse!

I knew you'd say that

Everyone HAS it, just that some people have it more than the others... Some people actually outshine others because they have it more! Others who don't have so much of it stays low profile, but somehow, somewhere in life, EVERY one of us has to display it...

What's that? There're just so many stuffs that This could refer to, but I'm talking specifically about CONFIDENCE~

Speaking about confidence, most of my friends or those who have had contact with me will say I'm one who's confident. Well, I still work on it as I believe confidence is something which is not acquired, rather it's something which can be enhanced! And I do believe most people agree with me...

During the Brand Enrichment Series today, a guy talked to me and asked me questions about my foundation. Interning there for 2 months already, I thought most of the info is at my fingertips. Whoah, just few minutes of bombarding questions, I found myself a bit dumbfounded really at the operation of my foundation. 1, only 1 significant thing he mentioned was, "When you speak, no matter with anyone, anyone at all, you must be confident. That's what distinguishes you from others"

Now you tell me, the next time you want to compliment others for having confidence, do you say "Wow, you're a confident person", or "Wow, you have a lot of confidence"

Slice of candle

Blog... What does it really mean anyway... Well, I would associate mine to a.... First aid kit...! 'Cept that it doesn't heal in any way... Or it does, whichever goes. Anyway, I might have a series of rantings; unread rantings to be exact.

1. Traffic light!!! Goodness, keep that as far away as you can from me, especially those that go crazy when you're rushing somewhere... For instance, I was on the way home just now in a slow breeze drive... Mana tau, reach the traffic light, it turned from red to green and back to red before you can say "PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICVOL....." :}| what?

2. Speaking about round-a-bout(s)... People who use round-a-bout are really round the bouts! At one side, you have one driver who's really patient and careful, at another turn, you see another crazy idiot %!@#$ who curses at you IN HIS CAR... Take note, IN HIS CAR, when you can't even hear what he's trying to say, but you can see from his jaw movement and lips gesture with the weird cross and twirl and whatever... When you cross his path, and there's of course, you! In this case, me, the one who crossed the %!@#$'s path at the round-a-bout... It got me thinking after that. No point getting angry over what has happened, cause either way, I won't remember his Cute, Handsome, Macho face after this, so, it's ok... I'll just keep him in my prayers before I sleep.

3. What in the world are in kids these days?!!! PRE-mature sex, murdering, crapping, dumb dumbs, dumping babies they just gave birth to?

Well, I had an almost similar one, but I've got an online greeting card instead. It's from my bro too, while he was doing his 3 months degree in Sheffield Harlem. Memang special lar.. Haha!

oh no!!!

Ok, this is really out of the blue...

Q: Why do genies come out of the magic lamp everytime someone rubs it?
A: Coz the interior will be hot and the genies are forced to come out!

Q: What do dogs like to sleep on?
A: Sleep-pars...

Even if you break your funny bone, you won't be lame...!

mutual or difference?

Kay, for so long my blog is mostly wordy with less pictures, unlike jackie loi... What to do, I'm lazy in uploading pictures (explains a lot why I don't do blog post for any of nuffnang's blog post competition; however, doesn't really explain why I seldom update as well) Woops... Anyway...

Disclaimer: Not referring to anyone in particular nor hinting anyting, A and B aren't initials to anybody and no harm is done here, it does not invoke innuendo alright... XD

Scene 1
A: That guy's a total disgust, a disgrace to mankind... I mean, c'mon, who in the RIGHT mind would wanna associate themselves with him anyway. Not like they're gonna benefit from him, he's just going to pull their legs and drag them down to hell... Best thing ever, how did they even came to existence?

B: You sure? I don't find him that bad... I mean, yea, he has bad habits and all, but he's friendly, talkative and easy-to-go-with person. Sociable, a veritable nice guy. Why not try to be friendly with him and get to know him better?

Scene 2
A: Goodness me, she's the coolest girl I've ever met, like she's so cool and all, such a good role model, rich and has the all-in-one package any guy would ever wish for... She can cook, dance, sing, play musical instruments, soft-spoken, kind and all... OOooo...

B: WHAT?! That Witch? Are we really on the same channel now? That girl, compliments? You know, she defines all that's bad in this world. Why would anyone want to be friends with her, much less even greet her... This is just absurd!

Scene 3:
A&B : Marvelous...! That person's just... PERFECT!

*End of story*

It's true that at most crossroads in our life, we meet with various people from different phases of our lives. Various people subjects to different attitude, personality, behaviour, character and value as well. As such, the 2 people up there encounter the same person, but have different opinion on that person. How then do we deal with such people? Complain? Show disregard? Don't bother? Then again, there's a point of time whereby they'll agree that certain people they know are nice and great! Such a great world of balance we're living in...

tak tahu lah...

Alright, first things first, sorry blog... Everyone treats their blog as if it's alive and all... Well, I guess it is. Yesterday, during cf we had an ice-breaker which is human bingo. It went quite noisy and all, but it was fun! (as usual...) One of the slots reads "has a blog but is inactive" and I thought I'm eligible to sign that... Well, guess what? Another guy made it to the championship ranking, way beyond our challenge and reach... He left his blog for 3 good years! Woo hoo!!!

*talks to my blog* So, you think I neglected you eh? Well, think again!

Today as I was driving to class, it was a crazy morning. I decided to drive without my safety belt. Ho ho ho... Merry Christmas! Santa didn't have his safety belt on as well... Heck, he didn't even have a proper roof! Anyway, as I was reaching uni, there was a police roadblock at a very strategic place(sometimes, police are tactful when it comes to finding fault with road users), it was at a 2-lane road, just right after a cornering, which the view is blocked by trees. Awesome... Guess what? I was the 4th car just before the police road block...

Action 1: Quickly pull down the safety and tuck it, even when I'm in full view of the police
Action 2: Slowly pull down the safety belt, and just do it smoothly without them realizing it
Action 3: Well... Just let it be lar...

What will you do in a situation like that? I can answer for athletes, their quick reflex enable them to pull up action 1 with swift perfection. The cool and calm can execute action 2 with great confidence... People like me? Well, we just go with action 3... Best thing was, the car right in front of me (literally IN FRONT of me) was stopped and checked...

Great! Habis lah... Mesti kena tahan, saman, lepas tu pergi kelas muka masam maut... When it came to my turn to pass, SURPRISINGLY, the police looked at me and waved to me indicating I can pass... OOSSS!!!! *sigh of relief* I passed... God SAVED me... After that, I didn't even put on my safety belt... Since new year, it has been great! It's been always great... Haha...
